What a fabulous walk with sunshine, warm-but-not-hot temps, a cool breeze, 32 walkers, 4 “WABI Doggies” and “secret pathways” to discover as we strolled around the Hazel Valley neighborhood! And there were lots of “new” walkers… folks that hadn’t joined a Walk-n-Talk before. Such a joy to see otherwise-strangers, walking along, chatting with each other.
As we were “in the home stretch” getting back to our starting point at the Shark Garden, two young people – Emmanuel and Alana – came out to the street with two cases of drinks and gave them to us!
The kindness of strangers is heartwarming.
A big THANK YOU to all those that came out for the walk. See you next time!
