We’re heading into Burien’s northwest corner for our December Walk-n-Talk, in the hilly Shorewood neighborhood, with views out toward the water. Whether sun or rain, we’ll enjoy the company and conversation.
- Date: Sunday December 2, 2018
(Rain or shine. If you bring your umbrella, you won’t need it… right?) - Time: Meet at 2:00 p.m. Start walking at 2:15 p.m.
- Location: Shorewood Elementary School Entrance (North side of the building).
2725 SW 116th St, Burien, WA 98146 (How about carpooling with other walkers?) - Who: Everyone is invited and welcome to join in (including friendly four-legged friends).
- Route: The total route is about 2 miles. We start up high, at the school, then drop down close to sea level, then back up again. There are sidewalks only here and there. So, it’s hilly… just sayin’.
You can click on the map below to enlarge it and then print it as a guide as you’re walking. We might detour into Shorewood Park to hook back up with Marine View Drive.
