Grab your galoshes and let’s have our Walk-n-Talk in Burien’s far northwestern corner, in the hilly Shorewood neighborhood, with views out toward the water. This will be a great opportunity to try out your favorite rain coat and umbrella.
- Date: Sunday February 4, 2018
(Rain or shine. If you bring your umbrella, you won’t need it… right?
We’ll have a good time whether it’s raining or not!) - Time: Meet at 2:00 p.m. Start walking at 2:15 p.m.
- Location: Shorewood Elementary School Entrance (North side of the building).
2725 SW 116th St, Burien, WA 98146 (How about carpooling with other walkers?) - Who: Everyone is invited and welcome to join in (including friendly four-legged friends).
- Route: The total route is about 2 miles. We start up high, at the school, then drop down close to sea level, then back up again. There are sidewalks only here and there. So, it’s hilly… just sayin’.
