Nist Park — Will it be this sunny when we walk?
WABI Weekday Walkers return to Normandy Park for our monthly walk on the third Wednesday, February 18, 9 am. We will start from Nature Trails Park, walk up the hill to little-known Nist Park (which offers beautiful views of the Sound), and may take in Marvista Park depending on the group’s wishes. The walk including Marvista is about 3.6 miles; the walk is shortened to about 2.9 miles with a shortcut down Normandy Park Dr. SW. Both versions include gentle hills, and potentially muddy gravel trails in Nature Trails Park.
Date: Wednesday, February 18
Time: 9:00 AM. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start walking promptly at 9 am.
Meeting Place: Nature Trails Park, Marine View Drive and SW 8th Ave. Note parking is limited, so please consider walking to the park, or contacting Laura for carpooling.
