Pileated woodpeckers? Skunk cabbage? Indian plum trees? All this and more at Nature Trails Park in Normandy Park! Join. WABI Weekday Walkers for our monthly walk on the third Wednesday, April 17, 9 am. We will start from Nature Trails Park and explore from there, depending on the group’s preferences. We’ll walk about 3 miles for an hour or so — please be prepared for hills and potentially muddy forest trails.
Date: Wednesday, April 17, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start walking promptly at 9 am.
Meeting Place: Nature Trails Park, Marine View Drive and SW 8th Ave. There is a small parking lot by the park. 
Directions: Consult your favorite mapping app for various routes to the park. From Burien, head south on 1st Ave South, and look for the sign pointing to the Cove and City Hall (SW 171st Street). Head west and stay on the arterial as it curves south and turns into Marine View Drive. Look for the park’s parking lot on your left at Marine View Drive and SW 8th Avenue after you’ve crossed Marine View Court.
