December’s WABI Weekday Walk is Wednesday, December 21, the winter solstice — so let’s warm up by walking to Burien’s secret gardens. Meet a little before 9 am at Grand Central Bakery, 626 SW 152nd Street in downtown Burien. Come discover Burien’s community garden and imagine growing your own veggies next spring. We’ll also visit Dottie Harper Park, Linde Hill Park and Chelsea Park — about an hour’s walk.
