Before our walk we’ll see the work of artist Danny Mansmith in his installation “Eight Doorways”, featured in the art space at the Maverick Apartments. We’ll meet at 2:00 p.m. at the corner of SW 150th and 6th Ave. SW. where Danny’s art is in the glassed-in space at the northwest corner of the building. (The originally scheduled artist’s reception has been cancelled.)

Walk-n-Talk Route
For our March Walk-n-Talk, we’ll begin at the artist reception and start walking at 2:15. We’ll walk east along SW 152nd, then south along Des Moines Memorial Drive, west on SW 156th and north on 4th Ave. SW, arriving at Merrill Gardens for the concert. (Click on the map to enlarge it. Concert: Music of Spain and South America
When we return from our walk, all are welcome to enjoy the Spanish music concert at Merrill Gardens, 15020 5th Ave S.W., Burien. The Ladies Musical Club of Seattle and the City of Burien present this afternoon concert featuring music for cello, guitar, voice, solo piano and clarinet composed by de Falla, Granados, Piazzolla, Rodrigo and others.
