For the last two years, WABI-Burien has participated in Feet First’s Annual Stairway Walk.  Alas, Burien’s stairway walk, Eagle Landing, is closed due to erosion.  (See the B-Town Blog for more info.)  So we are pitching in to lead a stairway walk in West Seattle:  Longfellow Creek and Pigeon Point.  It’s only 1.8 miles, but here’s the stairway stats: 274 steps down, 314 steps up.

Please go to the Feet First meetup site to sign up.  Note a $10 donation is requested; kids are free.  The meeting location is the Delridge Community Center parking lot, 4501 Delridge Way Southwest (just south of the West Seattle bridge.)  Time is 10 am on Saturday, February 7.  Click here for a map and description.

Feet First is organizing several other cool stairway walks in Seattle on Saturday, February 7.  Check out their calendar for a listing.  (The time of 9 am on the calendar is an error; all walks start at 10 am.)
