The next walk of the Des Moines Waterland Walking Group is a special Earth Day city cleanup walk, on a different day and time than usual. We will be given bags, vests, and pickers to use. This is a great opportunity to get some exercise, meet new people, enjoy scenic views, celebrate Earth Day, and help clean up the city of Des Moines.
Date & Time: Saturday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. (Rain or shine.)
Meeting Place: Des Moines Fieldhouse located at 1000 S 220th St, 98198.
Route & Features: We won’t have a specific route to follow, but we have an area our group is assigned to for picking up trash.
