School walk with WABI, Weds. Nov. 18, 9 am

Come join us on the third Wednesday of the month, November 18 at 9 am, starting at Burien Town Square Park. We’ll walk by a current school (Seahurst Elementary) and a historic school location (Lake Burien School Memorial Arch). The walk takes about an hour and is fairly flat.

Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2020
Time: Meet 5-10 minutes before 9 am in order to leave promptly on the walk at 9 am.
Meeting Place: Meet on the grassy knoll in Burien Town Square Park. 400 SW 152nd St
Parking: Along SW 152nd and behind the library.
Transit: Meeting place is within walking distance from Burien Transit Center, 628 SW 151st St.
Walking route: The loop starts from downtown Burien, goes east, then north, then west by Seahurst Elementary and Lake Burien Memorial Park, then back eastward to the starting point. The route, mostly flat, is about 3 miles (about an hour).  (See the map below.)  See larger map.
