Leafline Trails Coalition: Connecting Trails, Connecting Communities
The Leafline Trails Coalition is working to create an interconnected network of shared use trails across the Central Puget Sound region to improve health, community, quality of life, mobility, and access for all.
Is there a connected trail system across Puget Sound today?
Well yes, and no. Currently, the region has 450 miles of regional trails. But there are big gaps in the regional network. Today, the Puget Sound region, access to trails–just like life expectancy–is determined by your Zip code. Our goal is to create an equitable, world-class, interconnected trails system to knit together all the communities in the region.
Whether walking, biking or hiking, the regional trails here in our area are a fabulous resource for those that want to get out-and-about for exercise and/or commuting. Check out the interactive Leafline Trails Map HERE.
