Need a way to get rid of all the calories you added on Thanksgiving? You are invited to join the Des Moines Waterland Walking Group this Saturday, November 27th. We are walking the loop trail at Saltwater State Park, 25205 8th Place South. Meet at 11:00 am in front of the bathrooms in the lower parking lot. You will either need a Discover Pass or daily pass to park in the State Park, both available to buy from the kiosk at the gate. The loop trail is about 1.7 miles in length, and is an up and down dirt trail thru the woods which is likely to be muddy. Dogs are welcome. After we walk the loop trail you have the option of walking to the beach and exploring at your leisure.
