Come celebrate the City of Burien’s most recent jewel in the Parks Department, the new Miller Creek Trail. The trail follows along the wetlands of Miller Creek. Join the WABI Weekday Walkers on the third Wednesday of the month, December 16 at 9 am.

Time: Meet 5-10 minutes early so we can leave promptly at 9:00 am.
Meeting Place: 14455 Des Moines Memorial Drive.
Parking lot at trailhead is off Des Moines Memorial Drive, just north of where it crosses under Highway 518.
For a little extra exercise, we’ll go from the lowlands to the highlands – the highest point in Burien, near Mathison Park (463 feet!). The Miller Creek Trail is flat and paved, the rest of the walk has some hills and walking is along the side of the street. On the return, we’ll either retrace our steps or take the bike trail along Des Moines Memorial Drive. (Note, the Miller Creek trail is different than the Miller Creek Preserve in Normandy Park.)
