We’re heading into Burien’s northwest corner for our March 1, 2020 Walk-n-Talk, in the hilly Shorewood neighborhood. We’ll have views out toward the water, and whether sunny or rainy, we’ll enjoy the company and conversation. There will probably be all sorts of early spring flowers in bloom, too!
- Date: Sunday March 1, 2020
(Rain or shine. If you bring your umbrella, you won’t need it… right?) - Time: Meet at 2:00 p.m. Start walking at 2:15 p.m.
- Location: Shorewood Elementary School Entrance (North side of the building).
2725 SW 116th St, Burien, WA 98146 (How about carpooling with other walkers?) - Who: This FREE event is open to everyone (including friendly, four-legged friends).
- Route: The total route is about 2 miles. We start up high, at the school, then drop down close to sea level, then back up again. There are sidewalks here and there. And it’s hilly… just sayin’.
You can click on the map below to enlarge it and then print it as a guide as you’re walking. We might detour into Shorewood Park to hook back up with Marine View Drive.
