The February walk of the Des Moines Waterland Walkers is next Sunday February 23rd.
Time and Location: Meet at 11:00 am at Saltwater State Park near the bathrooms in the lower parking lot. The address is 25205 8th Place South, basically just off of Marine View Drive.
Parking: You will need a Discover Pass or a daily pass (available from the machine at the gate) to park your vehicle in the state park.
Route: We will walk the loop trail around the park, an up-and-down dirt trail which could be muddy so be prepared. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Some of us will walk to the beach afterwards so everyone is welcome to explore the beach also.
