The monthly Des Moines Waterland Walk in October
will be at Saltwater State Park in Des Moines.
Date & Time: October 21, 2018 at 11:00 am
Meeting Place: Saltwater State Park, in the lower parking lot next to the bathrooms at the bottom of the road after you go thru the state park gate. The address for Saltwater State Park is 25205 8th Pl. S., in Des Moines.
Route & Features: We will walk the loop trail (about 1 ½ miles). It is a dirt trail thru the woods, up and down, with restrooms at the start, end, and middle. Dogs are welcome on a leash. For those who wish, we can walk down to the beach and along the path next to the beach after we walk the loop trail.
Parking: You will either need a daily state park pass (available by machine at the gate) or an annual Discover Pass to park your vehicle inside the state park.
