The Des Moines Third Sunday monthly walk will be this Sunday, November 20th at 11:00 am. We will meet at the Des Moines Marina near the fishing pier and restrooms, rain or shine, dogs are welcome on a leash. This month we will walk the Des Moines Creek Trail. It is about ¼ mile to the trailhead in the Des Moines Beach Park, then the trail is 2 miles in length, paved, slightly uphill. Then we will turn around and return to the marina, so about 4 ½ miles total. But you are free to turn around at any point for whatever reason, so join us for whatever portion of the walk you are able to.
