In compliance with Governor Inslee’s order restricting group activities as a public health measure, the WABI Weekday Walk, normally on the third Wednesday of the month (May 20, 2020), is cancelled. We encourage you to walk on your own and perhaps try out some new walking routes.
To whet your appetite for new routes, here are some clues about parks/walking routes in Normandy Park that WABI has done in the past. For answers, come to a WABI walk, hopefully starting back up in June. See you on the trail!

- One of the best locations in the area for trilliums
- Named after a former Boeing CEO
- Lots of swamp cabbages and side trails in this park.
- The troll and Normandy Park’s original clubhouse are close by
- Where the mouth of Miller Creek is located
- Its staircase rivals the long-closed Eagle’s Landing staircase
