In November we will be walking on a nature trail built by the Boy Scouts, and visiting a couple local parks, including one we missed out on a couple months ago. Meet next Sunday, November 15th at 11:00 am at the trailhead for the Barnes Creek Nature Trail. It is on the south side of South 216th Street and approximately 18th Avenue South, about two blocks west of the Des Moines Post Office. We will walk south on the nature trail, then head up the hill and across Pac Hwy to Midway Park. Then we will circle down to Steven J. Underwood Park, before heading down the hill to the trailhead. Total distance is about 2 miles, and does include a climb up the hill to Midway Park.
As is usual these days please stay home if you are not feeling well. Follow health department guidelines by wearing a face covering, use social distancing, and we will split up into separate groups if we have more than 5 people.
