This month the Des Moines Waterland Walkers are having their annual holiday walk around downtown Des Moines. The idea is to enjoy the holiday decorations and learn what great shops and restaurants are in town. You have the option of stopping in the shops for a quick peek or picking up something to drink, but for the most part we will be enjoying the walk.
Meet on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 am at Big Catch Plaza, next to the Dollar Tree at 21815 Marine View Drive. Dogs are welcome on the walk, but not in the shops. The route will basically head south on 7th Avenue South, then head over to Marine View Drive by Red Robin, then north back to Big Catch Plaza.
