Be part of the great stream of bikes glinting in the sunlight as Burien bikers pedal to work or school on Burien Bike Day, Friday, May 16. WABI Burien will be hosting a Bike Commuter Station that day from 6 am to 9 am, at Town Square Park, about a block from the Burien Transit Center.
We’ll have:
- Coffee
- Goodies (to eat)
- Goodies (for your bike)
WABI Wizards will be standing by to offer minor bike assistance and encouraging words for new bike commuters.
Thanks to our co-sponsor, the City of Burien, and our donors: Burien Press, Australian Pie Company, Start Fresh Market, and Burien Cycle.
WABI’s commuter station is part of Cascade Bicycle Club’s “Bike to Work Day” on May 16. Cascade has activities throughout May to encourage biking. Check out their map of May 16 commuter stations, and their calendar of bike activities.
Want to get your bike checked out for both commuting and shopping-local-by-bike? Consider visiting our new local bike shop, Burien Cycle, 804 SW 151 Street, Burien WA.
