After a luxuriously long, sunny, dry summer, we’re now full into Autumn with rain, gray and cold. But! The weatherman has promised us a few days of sunshine, so let’s get out in it together for October’s Walk-n-Talk!

This month, on Walk-n-Talk Sunday, the center of Burien is going to be abuzz with the Burien Brat Trot races, which get started at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. If you’d rather have a leisurely walk with conversation, instead of an out-of-breath run, come join the Walk-n-Talk, far from the madding crowd. (You can always join the Brat Trot festivities before and after the walk if you’d like.)

This is a FREE event and is enjoyable for all, including four-legged friends. Every month since August 2011, neighbors and Burien city visitors have gathered, walked and talked for fun, conversation and exercise. Come join the group! Chat with someone you wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to meet with.
