We had said “rain or shine” and we had both!
We huddled against the weather and waited to see if other walkers would show up.
In all, six intrepid “April Fools” showed up with stormy skies to the south, bundled for April’s Walk-n-Talk today, Sunday the 1st. We snugged our hoods, tightened our sleeves and walked into the wind with rain in our faces as we headed west from Burien Town Square toward Seahurst.
We ducked into Bicycles West in the midst of a rain shower and asked someone to get a full-group shot while the rain came down. (Thanks, Bikes West!)
By the time we got to Lake Burien Park, we had sun on our faces and were commenting on how warm it felt. We asked one of the longtime neighbors to snap a picture of us at the park.
